Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS)

This is a scholarship for Jammu and Kashmir students. It aims at educating and empowering the youth of J & K. The scholarship helps them to pursue undergraduate studies outside the state.

You will get an amount up to Rs.30,000 for a general degree. This is up to Rs.1.25 lakh for Engineering or professional degrees. The scholarship amount is up to Rs.3 lakh for medical or BDS streams.

  • The candidate should have passed 10+12 only from J & K Board or CBSE school located in UTs of J & K and Ladakh.
  • For lateral entry, the candidate should have passed 10+3 Diploma from UTs of J & K and Ladakh.
